Present Day

Bryn's been called many things in her profession, but she likes to think of herself as a communicator between the mortal realm and disenfranchised spirits. Her job does tend to bring out the crazies, but most of the time Bryn is able to relieve a soul's burden and help them move on. And even though this last client is in desperate need of her help, the overbearing son believes Bryn is there only to steal money, and chases her out of the house holding a knife. And that's when she runs smack dab into a moving vehicle. The driver is sexy in a dangerous sort of way, yet the touch of his hands are gentle and sure.

The moment Death touches Bryn, he knows she is meant to be his wife. After centuries without a vacation, Death has decided to take a much needed holiday, and under the name of Atticus Denali gets into his Aston Martin and drives to wherever fate takes him... which happens to be directly into Bryn. As he tries to make sure she's okay, the only question that remains for Atticus is whether or not to take her soul right now, or woo the beautiful Bryn as a mortal. But it is his vacation, after all. Surely Death can be very useful when it comes to communicating with ghosts. Except how eager will she be when she learns his true identity?

What's that old saying? Nothing is certain but death and taxes? Well, DEATH'S COURTSHIP is certainly a winner. Funny, yet poignant at the same time, Jory Strong has created a very memorable character in Atticus, and his evolution from a staid businessman to amorous lover is great to watch unravel. After all, how bad could a man be when he takes his name from one of the most beloved characters ever to be written? Bryn is also a great leading lady, who feels guilty about what she does for a living, while at the same time knowing that she helps a lot of people, and ghosts, along the way. But the characters that really stand out are Death's brothers, whom have been left in charge of things while he's gone. They are so happy to see that he has finally fallen in love that they take it upon themselves to keep Atticus and Bryn together.

A wonderful story full of wit, romance, and plenty of piping hot sex, DEATH'S COURTSHIP will enrapture many!
