Secondary characters, mainly of D'Angel and her vampire brethren, were more campy than scary, but their deeds against Alyssa and others are no less brutal. And trust me, just because Alyssa hates Damian with a fiery passion, her body can't help but give in to his carnal demeanor, but their intense lovemaking doesn't distract from the story.
