you’re looking for a spicy, bed banging, paranormal romp, IN A DARK
EMBRACE is the book for you. It’s light and fun and showcases the
pitfalls of a new sexual encounter. Ms. Bern doesn’t make the reader
think that it’s true love at first glance, but allows the reader to
follow the ups and downs of carnal relationships.
Jeremy
is a possessive wolf, while Lee is the free spirit. She is capable
of defending herself from Jeremy and that is essential to the story.
Without her strength, there would be no possible future between the
two.
While I
enjoyed IN A DARK EMBRACE, I was a tad bit disappointed that the
pack storyline wasn’t explored. I feel like Ms. Bern teased me with
‘what ifs’ instead of following through with that thread of the
story.
Overall, IN A DARK EMBRACE was an enjoyable and sexy story.
