Which is why he is resorting to such extreme measures to make Tori his. While they are out riding one day, David, unable to resist temptation anymore, says a spell to make Tori more compliant towards him. But with this action, has David bitten off more than he can chew? After all, he and his family have hidden their secret abilities for a long time. As David finally succumbs to the magic in his blood, he unwittingly releases a much darker force that could destroy everything, including Tori.

One minute Victoria Caldwell is enjoying a nice ride with her friend David Barrett, and the next she's lying naked in his arms. Having always seen David as a nice, but shy man, Tori is not only stunned at his actions, but her own as well. She's never acted so wanton in her life. To make things worse, their little love interlude did not go unnoticed, so Tori will have a decision to make. Will the man she was meant for be the one who's been next to her all along?

I have no problem with forced seduction. But when the hero deliberately puts a spell on the heroine so she'll sleep with him is an entirely different matter. Throughout the first chapter, David refers to his plans for Victoria as a "deliberate seduction." It's deliberate, but I didn't feel it was a seduction, since David basically took away her free will when it came to matters of the heart and body. Although the rest of the story was a fairly nice read, I just couldn't get over the actions of David, which is why I can't recommend Emma Wildes ONE FOR LOVE.
