Erotic Paranormal Romance

Hamptons, New York ~ Present Day

For five long years, Aurora Jacquard has been in an unexplainable coma. Her parents have now hired Dr. Jacob White to try to awaken their only child. When Jacob enters the room where Aurora is, he’s in for a shock. She looks peaceful, as if she’s merely asleep…and very beautiful. Jacob moves into the family mansion to get as close as possible to his study and cure of Aurora. One night, he falls asleep and awakens to find himself standing next to Aurora. An intense sexual attraction develops between them. The same thing happens again and Jacob soon realizes that these are very vivid dreams about Aurora and he’s attracted to a woman in a coma.

Aurora has been caught in a world of her own, where she has been the only occupant. Until now. When Jacob arrives, not only is she caught off guard by him, but the sudden feelings she has for him explode into something she thought she would never experience. Aurora is a virgin, but in her dream world she is an insatiable vixen. Jacob and Aurora can’t keep their hands (or lips) off each other and, even as they fall in love, both realize that in order to live happily ever after they have to devise a plan to forge their lives.

For the first part of RAVISH, Aurora and Jacob discover and explore each other. Neither realizes at first that Jacob has entered Aurora’s subconscious mind nor how deep their bonds are. With each contact (because, once he sleeps, then he immediately starts dreaming about her), Jacob falls more in love with Aurora. Once he understands the how, then he must learn the why and the way he must fix it so they can be together. His quest is a race against time when they realize they’re up against powerful dreams that Aurora seemingly cannot escape.  Meanwhile, they continue to enjoy each other sexually, falling further and further in love. If Jacob fails, he may have lost the one woman he will truly love.

Just as the title suggests, RAVISH is an erotic take on Sleeping Beauty. Cathy Yardley’s version of this popular fairytale is scorching hot and will have readers reaching for ice to cool down with. It didn’t take long for this reader to get totally engrossed in RAVISH, as I was curious about the whys and hows. The race to save Aurora is breathless entertainment that readers shouldn’t miss. My only complaint is that I wished it had been longer. By the time RAVISH ended, however, I smiled as I knew that Aurora and Jacob would live happily ever after. Just like in a fairytale.
