Haven, Montana - Present Day

With the Carmichael werewolf pack, tradition is everything and change is not welcome.  However, the Alpha is dying, and whether the pack likes it or not, change will come as the rising Alpha wants the pack brought into the twenty-first century.

Donovan
Donovan McGowan is a Protector, and it’s his duty to bring his cousin Wyatt home before Wyatt’s father, the Alpha, dies.  His first night in Haven brings Donovan something he’d almost given up on finding – his mate.  As a Protector, the pack expects Donovan to marry a were and strengthen the bloodline, but Lisa Delaney is human.  If he marks her as his mate, the pack will challenge both of them and could mean his banishment from the pack.  But if he doesn’t, Donovan may not be able to protect her from the very human enemies that Lisa has made.

Kelon
To help his brother with the threat against his family, Kelon travels to Haven, still disbelieving of Donovan’s decision to mate with a human.  The minute Kelon sees Robin Delaney however, he begins to understand Donovan a bit more.  The wolves instinctively know when they’ve found their true mates, and Kelon is no exception.  The Delaney sisters apparently have more than one enemy and Kelon will do whatever it takes to protect Robin.

Wyatt
Heather Delaney figures that the sexy new men in her sisters’ lives have somehow convinced them of their delusional belief that they are werewolves - but Heather is too practical to fall for that.  Yet, she can’t help but be a bit envious of the devotion the McGowan men show to Lisa and Robin.  And when she meets their cousin, Wyatt Carmichael, she begins to believe that there just may be a man out there willing to show her the same devotion.  With his father dying, Wyatt is being challenged daily by those wanting to prove Wyatt’s unworthiness to ascend to Alpha.  Heather’s arrival complicates things, because unless he can change the Pack’s mindset, they will never accept their Alpha having a human mate.

RUNNING WILD is the tale of the Delaney sisters and some of the key members of the Carmichael pack.  The novel is divided into three sections each dealing with one of the wolves finding and trying to claim his mate.  Each of the Delaney sisters are fighters in their own way, and they are all more than a match for their dominant, and somewhat old-fashioned wolves.  The Pack’s traditions keep them isolated from humans, and that’s only one thing that Wyatt would like to change.  With Wyatt and the two most prominent Protectors of the pack finding human mates, change will come, but will it be a change that helps the Pack, or splits it in half?

While each section of the story focuses on one of the relationships, there is an underlying plot that connects the stories, making RUNNING WILD seem less like an anthology, and more like a tale that takes place in stages.  A captivating and erotic story, RUNNING WILD should not be missed.
