Other threats include Inanna and her select Revenant army; rogue Revenants that are banding together; and the Sabat, a vampire council that could imperil all of them.  Many things work to unnerve the cool Chessa including mage Simon's cloudy advice, old betrayals coming to light, new deceits, and the dark desire to be dominated that she never would have imagined possessing.

SEDUCED BY DARKNESS is a story filled with all of the spooky beings that haunt New Orleans and nightmares.  Chessa is pushed to her limits by the flood, zombies, the unnatural and mysterious Alex, and the dominant Nic.  Nic will do anything to keep Chessa for the short time he knows that he can have her.  He is harboring a secret, and he wants Chessa to admit her love and need for him before he loses her forever.  Intimate encounters are searingly hot, kinky, and aggressive.  Strong writing, fast pacing, surprises, and twists make this a page-turner.  SEDUCED BY DARKNESS is a highly recommended gritty and dark gothic treat.
