Erotic Paranormal Romance

Present Day

Thanks to his gifts, Wyatt Kennedy is used to women throwing themselves at him, followed by steamy sex, and then the women forgetting him almost completely.  So, when Faith Black walks into the bar and asks him for help ditching an ex-boyfriend, following up the request with a toe-curling kiss, Wyatt figures it’s his pheromones causing the reaction, and the rest of the night will be the same.  Which is unfortunate, because for the first time Wyatt finds himself wishing that the woman he is with will remember him.  However, with the mission he must accomplish for ACRO (Agency for Covert Rare Operatives), it’s probably for the best that he won’t be seeing Faith again.

What Wyatt doesn’t know, though, is that Faith is an agent, too.  Working for the British government, Faith has a mission similar to Wyatt’s, but with a different goal in mind.  Itor, a group of psychics with the goal of world domination and the archenemy of ACRO, have a machine that can control the weather, and they plan to unleash a deadly storm on the U.S.  Wyatt’s mission is to destroy the machine, but, to save the life of the sister who went missing twenty years earlier, Faith must retrieve the machine and turn it over to her sister’s captors.  In order to do so, Faith must betray her childhood friend and former lover, now an Itor agent, and with Wyatt around to distract her, things are even more dangerous.  Of course, for a secret agent, danger can be an aphrodisiac.

As Faith and Wyatt try to find the machine, ACRO and its agents prepare to face catastrophe in SEDUCED BY THE STORM.  From the first time they meet, there is an uncontrollable passion between Faith and Wyatt, and it’s not completely a result of the pheromone Wyatt exudes.  Their relationship starts off with lust and danger, and slowly becomes about so much more.  As secret agents, they are both hiding their abilities, but even after they admit the truth to one another, they will be at cross-purposes.

Finding the weather machine is the primary goal, and while that is the mission that Faith and Wyatt share, there is more going on in the story than just their part of it.  Haley and Remy, from UNLEASHING THE STORM, will be on the front lines of the storm, using Remy’s connection to the weather to hopefully avert the worst of it.  The on-again-off-again relationship between two other agents, Annika and Creed, will be tested, and there are some other things -- plotlines carrying over from the previous stories -- that will continue in this tale.  I would highly recommend reading the books in order because so much of the story involves events that have happened previous to this one.

A gripping tale with a few interesting surprises and plenty of steamy scenes, SEDUCED BY THE STORM should not be missed.
