Ivy L’Engle isn’t an ordinary woman, her heritage as a unicorn makes her a protector of the innocent, and above all else, she’s responsible for protecting the Heart of the World and the forest that surrounds it. When the former love of her life, Blaze, comes back to Cameron County, Ivy is stunned. He didn’t come back to apologize, he came back to destroy the Heart with an evil businessman at his side. How dare he threaten all that she holds dear?! And if he thinks she’s going to buy his story of innocence and needing her help, well, she may be pure of heart, but she’s not stupid.

SHE is a fantastic tale filled with characters who range from fairies and pixies to dryads, nymphs and dragons (dragons being the only unicorn predator). Ivy is a unicorn, but she’s also able to take human form. Loyal and true, she is fierce when it comes to protecting those she loves, however, she wears blinders when it comes to Blaze. The danger that’s sprung to life in Ivy’s world makes it difficult to think of trusting him, especially when all appearances say he’s a threat. Blaze is a man very much in love, even after all these years. Fate stepped in when he would have taken the final step of binding himself to Ivy and stopped the pair. Luckily so, for if Blaze had lost his virginity, he would have also lost all hope of coming into his powers. Even now, he knows he can never be with Ivy as his father made it clear that he would lose power, so much that he might not be able to fulfill his duties as a wizard. But the attraction between the pair is still very much alive, and Blaze isn’t sure he can resist the delectable female. For her part, Ivy is having the same issues (you did know unicorns can’t resist virgins, didn’t you?). Can Ivy and Blaze overcome the misunderstandings of the past and present and join together to save the Heart of the World, or will magic die once and for all?

Kellogg Brownroot is a businessman with his fingers in coal and oil, Cameron County’s timber is next in his sights. Kellogg has heard rumors about the Heart, and he has a plan for it as well. Zachariah, Blaze’s dad, is dead, you’d think that would make him a non-issue, but ole Zach isn’t done with Blaze, or the world, just yet. Seal is a handsome little fairy, his greatest wish is to be human size so he can fulfill all of Ivy’s desires. Vinca is a female fairy with a mouth that doesn’t stop. Currently friends with Ivy, she was once close to Zachariah. Tchili (Ivy’s cousin) and Crystal (Ivy’s sister) are also unicorns in danger from Kellogg’s plans.

Full of the fantastic, as well as danger and adventure to spare, SHE is sure to make your day. And yes, passion is present as well (you didn’t seriously believe Blaze would remain a virgin, did you?). Chemistry isn’t a problem for Ivy and Blaze and readers are sure to find themselves caught up in this romantic fantasy.
