Additional characters include Rita, Katelyn’s friend and co-owner of the store; Queen Alyssandra and King Stone, Klatch leaders of Tador; Sela, Queen of the Cunts; Aedan, a Cunt warrior engaged to Rita; and Valen, leader of a Klatch group that opposes humans coming to Tador.  Katelyn is overwhelmed by the knowledge that she is on another planet, that witches are the inhabitants of the planet, and that sexual energy is the fuel that keeps the planet alive.  She is also aware that something important is being kept from her, but the sensations that constantly bombard her from Grayson and the rest of the Klatch keep her from questioning them too deeply.  But, that secret will leave Katelyn either mated and on Tador forever, or dead.
