Oliver on the other hand, is curious about the beautiful Mei Chen and why he feels a connection with her from the start. As the four hang out together, have sex, and talk about being Chanku, they are trying to figure out why Mei can’t shift. They all do their best but when it comes right down to it, Mei can’t. Will this put a damper on things between her and Oliver?

Another interesting and intriguing story from Kate Douglas, WOLF TALES VI reintroduces readers to Adam and Eve, shows us some more about Oliver, and introduces a new face to the group, Mei. Adam knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Eve is his chosen mate, unfortunately she’s not as sure. Oh, she loves Adam and enjoys the way he makes her feel, but she wants to be sure, thus her running away to figure out some things. Adam waits patiently, spends time with Oliver and the others, and when the call comes, he’s out the door with Oliver in tow to claim his woman. Mei is a beautiful young woman who, once she learns about the Chanku, then everything she’s been experiencing makes a strange sort of sense. But it’s rather frustrating for all when she can’t shift. If she can’t shift then her and Oliver cannot forge the deep mating bond that mates share. Does she ever shift, you ask? Uh…yes. <g> What was the problem? Well, now you’ll have to read the book to uncover that little jewel. Secondary characters include the rest of the clan; Anton, Keisha, Stefan, Xandi, Mik, A.J. and their mate, Tala.

Fast-paced, titillating, and some steamy sex that leaves you breathless, WOLF TALES VI is a welcome addition to Ms. Douglas’s Chanku series.
