Erotic Paranormal Romance   Short Story

Somewhere in the United States and Oileán, an island in the Celtic Sea - 1689 and present day

Maeve O’Shea comes from a very long line of powerful witches. Unfortunately, Maeve isn’t so blessed with power. In fact, if something doesn’t happen soon, she’ll graduate college as a mere level eight, a shameful thing in a family of level thirteens. That’s why Maeve is determined to finish this spell (intended to enhance her power and confidence) right. A moonstone is the last ingredient and luckily she has a moonstone ring passed down through the generations of her family. Perfect.

Ronan, Lord of Air, Seelie royalty, and prisoner of the witch Aloisia Roarke. He’d once thought himself in love with her, but then the treacherous woman forced him to reside in a moonstone ring where she, and generations of her family, could draw on his powers. When Maeve inadvertently releases him, Ronan is pleased to find that she’s Aloisia’s descendant. Revenge will be his. He’ll make the witch fall for him and then leave her heartbroken just like he was.

Revenge and passion are dangerous things indeed, and when the two become one? Well, you never know what will happen.

BEWITCHING THE FAERIE brings together two delightful characters. Maeve is a sweetheart, and surprisingly (given her lack of confidence) she does quite well at resisting Ronan’s advances. (Far better than I would have, he’s Hot!) Kind and generous, she hasn’t had much luck in love. Will this time be any different? Ronan is an extremely angry man. Given that he’s been trapped in a ring for over three hundred years, understandably so. However, he isn’t an unfair man, and once he gets to know Maeve, his hardened heart melts a bit, allowing the tender, kind soul inside to shine through. But, he fell for Aloisia’s lies once, is Maeve truly any different? If Maeve can unleash her brave inner self, and if Ronan can learn to trust again, this pair just might have an enchanted future in front of them.

A fantasy filled with some very steamy moments, and of course with the sweet spice of love, BEWITCHING THE FAERIE is sure to please readers and leave them looking for more of Cynthia Rayne’s work.
