Erotic Paranormal Romance - ménage with M/M interaction  -- Short story

San Miguel, Santa Carla, and the surrounding countryside in Mexico - Present day

Gabriella may be just part owner of a bar in a dusty Mexican border town, but that doesn’t mean she’s not smart, far smarter than her sister Lucia is. After yet another man dumps Lucia, the two sisters argue about what makes a man a good choice. Lucia insists that Gabriella is far too conservative and challenges her to a bet. Angry, and aware that is has been quite a while since her last sexual encounter, Gabriella agrees to sleep with the next hot man who walks into the bar. Gabriella is a lucky woman, for not one hot man, but a pair, arrive together.

There’s just one complication, they’re Catkind. Half man, half cat, they’ve only recently been revealed to the human world as real. And this pair, well, they’re on the hunt. No, don’t worry, they won’t harm Gabriella. They want her to be their mate.

Derek is cocky, fierce, and quick to spring into action. Benjamin is patient, gentlemanly and definitely the quieter of the two. Though Benjamin is a bit unsure about taking a human woman as a mate, he can’t deny Derek’s assertion that Gabriella is the one. Gabriella, on the other hand, is so not looking for a mate. She prefers to think of this encounter as a fun, fulfilling experience with no strings attached. Can Benjamin and Derek convince Gabriella that she is their destined Queen, or will Derek’s mouth get ahead of his brain and ruin their chances with the only woman they’ll ever want?

Gabriella has three siblings: Lucia, the headstrong, fiery tempered sister; Marnie, the gentle sister with impossibly bad taste in men (she makes Lucia’s choices look good), and Tony, the brother with connections for really good beer (a must in their family business). Another intriguing secondary character is a bellhop named Tracey. Look for more about this smooth talker in the next book in the Cat O’ Nines series.

Lest you think that Derek’s hasty speech, Benjamin’s worries and Gabriella’s reluctance to commit are the only things standing in the way of their happily ever after, let me add a couple of other things to the mix: The Catkind don’t approve of men being together and they certainly won’t look on a mating with a human as any better, and there are many humans who would prefer that the Catkind cease to exist. What does this all add up to? Why a story chock full of action, hot sex and danger of course. CAT’S CLAWS is the perfect thing to brighten up a dreary winter day.
