Erotic Paranormal Romance - Short story

Mexico - Present day

Gabriella, Marnie, Tony and Lucia, the four Gatos siblings who have recently discovered their mates in the forms of eight sexy Catkind (half human / half cat) Derek and Benjamin, Tracey and Josh, Samaelle and David, and last but not least, Orion and Jomei, are about to face their mutual enemy, Rafael (Marnie’s former boyfriend, a human). But Rafael isn’t alone, he’s just a tool for someone much more dangerous, Anuetta, a Catkind woman who was supposed to have mated with Orion and Jomei and is determined to prevent the Catkind from having further interactions with humans.

Who will win the final battle? Anuetta and Rafael, or the lovers determined never to be parted? It’s anyone’s guess, but I like the odds of twelve to two. Then again, a woman scorned is a dangerous thing, add in the claws and sharp teeth, well, maybe the fight’s a bit more even then it looks.

If you haven’t read the first four stories in the Cat O’ Nines series (see the list at Changeling Press) read them prior to this tale as it concludes the plotline. At least I think it does, though there’s certainly room for more stories if Lia Connor wants to create them. All of the characters share the spotlight in this tale, allowing readers to spend more time with all four trios. And no, it’s not all spent fighting. ;-) These are passionate people and they find ways to express their love and devotion, despite the danger surrounding them. Surprises abound in this story as all four siblings discover their inner strength and the Catkind learn that humans should never be underestimated. Fiery, fun, and furry, CAT’S PAW will brighten your day.
