Beautiful twenty-nine year old Makena Brody is all silk and
conservatism. But, she has a hidden desire – a desire that it is
now time to fulfill. Makena has always, in a bit of rebellion,
wanted a tattoo.

Stone, moody and gorgeous, co-owns SkIntese Body Art and it is all
he can do to keep his hands off Makena when he sees her in his
shop. After talking with her, he decides to go slowly…not to give
into his feelings. When he does give her a tattoo, it is a
temporary one, in the form of a female guardian dragon.
Darq
and his partner, Heath Gyland, have a secret of their own, and Darq
has to decide how much to tell Makena. What he doesn’t control are
the dreams he draws her into.
To tell
more would spoil the story. SKIN is intriguing, magical, and so
steamy the screen gets a bit foggy. Bernadette Gardner has the
touch to set the senses and imagination afire with just the right
amount of lust and love, mixed with the pure joy of discovery. My
only quibble is the ending seems abrupt. I do hope that Bernadette
continues with this idea and makes it a series. It is certainly
deserving of that. I recommend it.
