Graelen Scott knows the woman on his doorstep is his destiny. As part of a magickal family, Graelen has waited for her, and is very aware that her presence means his end. But he is unable to resist the allure of Rena Gallagher. She brings with her his family's Tarot cards, and believes she has found a way to break the curse of the Scott brothers; four male witches, two sets of twins, who have to remain apart so their power doesn't spiral out of control. Rena, an empath, has found her very own symbol hidden in the cards, and believes that she will be able to end their curse. What neither one counted on was that by coming together, they would set into motion a chain of events that fate has deemed necessary.

Eliza Gray's tale started just right, piquing my interest with the Tarot deck, and the brothers' curse. But because THE BONDING is barely seventy pages long, that setup got lost as Rena and Graelen can barely keep their hands off each other from the very beginning. Then you throw in Graelen's brother, Cash, and more sex ensues. If this story had been just a bit longer, it would have been much more satisfying. The author has a nice voice, though, and I'm hopeful that I will enjoy future books written by her.
