Current
day, Virginia and 1715, on a pirate ship on the High Seas
Rebecca
Small works as a night intern in an art museum and her job is to
prepare the artifacts for display. Oftentimes she is the only one
in the museum, but she never feels alone with the huge picture of
Captain James Morrow to keep her company. She spends a lot of time
gazing into his eyes, admiring his strong form and fantasizing about
what it would be like to make love to him. One night, as she is
preparing the Captain’s dagger for display, Rebecca gives in to her
desires to feel the handle with her palm. With just a touch of the
small sword, Rebecca is whisked into the past right in the middle of
a pirates battle! All of her previous training in fencing comes to
the rescue and Rebecca is able to hold her own with men more than
triple her size.
Once
the smoke clears and the fight is over, Rebecca looks up into the
all too familiar and all too real face of James.
James
is surprised when Rebecca appears on the ship in the midst of the
battle. He is unsure of the game she is playing when she makes
advances toward him, but he is determined to see how far Rebecca
will go. He wonders if she will run away screaming when he shows
her the consequences of playing with fire.
Pull
out the ice cubes and turn on the fan! James is just about the
sexiest hero I’ve read about in a long time! He is highly
unpredictable, deliciously imaginative and willing to please!
Figuring she is in the midst of a dream or some sort of coma,
Rebecca releases her inhibitions. She not only takes all that James
dishes out, but she also gives as good as she gets!
At just
77 pages, TREASURED is an awesome time travel tale that I highly
recommend. It has the right amounts of spice and conflicts that
will have you turning the pages and gasping for more.
