Mmm…mmm…mmm! An alpha male who knows what he wants and is determined to get it, and a heroine who wants our hero but knows it won’t last forever because she wants a man to love her and he doesn’t believe in love. Alex has always watched out for Janey and fell in lust with the beauty when she was way too young for him. Even now that she’s older, Alex still feels he’s too old for her. But that doesn’t stop him and once he’s got Janey in his bed, then it’s settled. She belongs to him and Natches will just have to accept it. Janey loves Alex but knows that he will never return that sentiment. Still with that knowledge when he kisses her, touches her, and finally makes love to her, Janey goes into the relationship with her eyes wide open. Of course, the he-man attitude that both Alex and Natches has is about to drive her batty. They want to control her life and she’s having none of it. Yes, someone is sending her nasty notes, and yes they are a bit frightening, but dang it all, it’s her freakin’ life and she can handle it.

Secondary characters include me mbers of the Mackay clan, sheriff Zeke Mayes, Rogue Walker; an outspoken woman who is tough-as-nails, and one I can’t wait to see who she is paired with. The only advice I have for that man is…he better wear iron shorts.  Special Agent Timothy Cranston makes an appearance taking quite an interest in Janey. He helps out at the restaurant, gives the boy’s a hand in finding the stalker, and aggravates the boys just for the fun of it. He is quite a character that just loves to tick everybody off.
