Erotic Paranormal Romance

In order to save his inhuman, adoptive father Edmund, Graham Fitz Clare had to become inhuman himself. Now a vampire, Graham's life is forever changed. And though his father is back with their family, the danger is far from over. Old enemies have acquired a powerful weapon which enables them to steal the souls, and powers, of those they kill. The Fitz Clare brood, and anyone close to them, is at the top of their list, including Graham's old flame Penelope "Pen" Anderson. Pen was key to helping Graham and his family save Edmund from the clutches of Li-Hua and Frank, but because of what Graham is now, he's felt the need to distance himself from his only love. Rekindling a relationship with Pen is the last thing Graham has time for as Li-Hua and Frank have made their way to the United States, and are terrorizing their way through the country to amass as much power as possible. Can the Fitz Clare's stop these two before it's too late?

Graham and Penelope aren't the only ones having romantic problems, though. Ever since Edmund's rescue, his relationship with his fiancee Estelle has been strained, and he's finding it harder and harder to allow her to get close to him again.

The saga of the Fitz Clare's comes to a dramatic, yet satisfying end, in Emma Holly's SAVING MIDNIGHT as Edmund and his family team up with other powerful beings to stop the destructive journey of Li-Hua and Frank. Edmund is traumatized by his time in captivity (see BREAKING MIDNIGHT), and though Estelle and Graham are doing their best to help him overcome it, he is still haunted by the torture he suffered. And while Edmund is doing his best to push Estelle away from him, Pen is trying her damndest to get closer to Graham. She understands he went through a major transformation, yet why he feels the need to exclude her from his life is confusing to her. Especially since they still have plenty of sexual attraction towards one another. And boy, do they act on those white-hot feelings. Since this is the final book in the trilogy, it is best to have read the first two books in the series, as numerous characters play key roles in the author's latest.

A sensual, thrilling conclusion, SAVING MIDNIGHT should not be missed.
