Erotic Contemporary Romance

Seattle, Washington - Present Day

Though Marshall Media doesn’t have a policy stating that co-workers can’t date, company president Marci Bayne does: at least, where she’s concerned.  Which is too bad, because her newest Vice President, Keefe Donegan, is someone she would like to get to know a lot better.  Marci reluctantly agrees to a business dinner with him, and when things heat up between them afterwards, she decides to have one wild weekend with him before he officially becomes her employee.

A nasty break-up is part of the reason why Keefe Donegan left Los Angeles for Seattle, so he has no intention of getting seriously involved with another woman any time soon.  But Marci is not at all what he expected his boss to be, and he can’t resist the attraction he feels for her.  A fun-filled weekend sounds like a good idea at the time he suggests it, but the more he gets to know Marci, the more Keefe hopes he can convince her to continue things once work starts on Monday.

Not only BUSINESS AND PLEASURE mix in this enticing tale, but two people burned by romance in the past do as well.  Marci’s last relationship was with someone who worked for the company and it did not end well.  She has no desire to become the focus of office gossip again, especially not with the new, younger, VP.  The chemistry between Marci and Keefe is too hot to ignore though, and things naturally go further than expected.  They also get to know each other, making the relationship more believable.

The first in the Lavender Lace series, BUSINESS AND PLEASURE also has another couple featured: Ashlin, who owns the Lavender Lace Lingerie store, and is responsible for bringing couples together, and her lover, Llir, a god of the sea.  It’s through Ashlin’s shop and her gifts that the couples will find romance in this, and the following books.

An engaging story, don’t miss BUSINESS AND PLEASURE.
