Just days before Rohan Patel and

shifter is transported to the hospital. Though they have no idea

hesitantly settles into life in the feline shifter community.
Kiran’s feelings for Rohan are strong and he knows those feelings
are returned. Yet, if his dreams are actually memories of Kiran’s
past, will Rohan and Middlemarch still accept him?
CATNAP, the latest addition to the
Middlemarch Mates series, introduces readers to new faces,
while also including some favorites. Saber and Emily (from SCARLET
WOMAN) welcome the trio to town and later, Kiran finds he has a
special affinity for animals other than shifters when he works with
the town’s vet, Gavin (featured in LETICIA’S LOVERS). For those new
to the series, CATNAP stands well enough on its own, with only a few
allusions to previous tales.
Rohan and Ambar’s parents were
traditional and strict, so while the siblings miss their parents,
they also revel in the independence they now have. Ambar hasn’t
been around members of the opposite sex often, as their parents
planned to arrange a marriage for her; Rohan hasn’t been open about
his sexual preferences because they would not have approved. The
relationship between Rohan and Ambar is a close one, and they easily
accept Kiran as part of their family. The romance between Rohan and
Kiran, despite its initial quick spark, progresses slowly, as both
men are leery of getting involved until they are sure that there
isn’t someone else in Kiran’s past.
