Too Hot to Handle – Susan Lyons

Vancouver, Canada

Jade is angling for a promotion at the company she works for, but rumor has it that they prefer to promote employees who have a spouse. Since Jade isn’t even seeing anyone, that might prove to be a problem if she wants to get her dream job. Her girlfriends suggest she pick one of the men at a bachelor auction fundraiser to pose as her fiancé. Jade figures a nice, white-collar man is just the type she wants, but her libido has other plans when she catches sight of fireman Quinn O’Malley. He’s all wrong, right?

Well, Mr. Wrong turns out to be Jade’s Mr. Right. Sizzling sex has them scorching the sheets and a few other places. Unfortunately, she can’t envision him as being anything more than a one night stand…or two. Quinn takes risks and Jade is all about security and safety. Jade decides a quick affair is all that is there between them. Even as Quinn forces Jade to spread her wings and take a few risks, she is appalled at those he takes.  This forces them to butt heads, neither willing to budge. Is great sex all they have, or can they get past their differences?

Their chemistry sizzles, both in and out of bed. Susan Lyons hits all the right notes in Too Hot to Handle.

The Firefighter Wears Prada -- Rachelle Chase

San Francisco, California

Fashion designer Delta Ballantyne needs firefighter Evan Marshall to model her sexy underwear line. He refuses, but when challenged to a faceoff, she ends up the winner. He had no idea a woman who dresses in expensive clothes could be good at getting down and dirty. What he doesn’t realize is that she’s hiding her past from him and everyone. Evan is not happy posing, but once he’s in the underwear, one look at Delta has him all too happy to show off his assets.  Evan wants Delta, but can any relationship between them survive beyond the shoot? Can Delta reveal the real woman underneath the layer of veneer?

Apparent opposites attract in Rachelle Chase’s The Firefighter Wears Prada. Delta dresses to the nines and presents a “do not touch” attitude, but something about Evan has her ready to rip off both their clothes. He’s tough and full of testosterone. Delta is tough and street-smart, though she doesn’t want him to see her as anything other than a well dressed, intelligent woman. Their sexual trysts are steamy and fulfilling, but yet, there is that awareness of their wanting more than a temporary fling.

Uncovering secrets and a sexy firefighter’s body prove to be just one of the highlights of The Firefighter Wears Prada. Can a couple with seemingly little in common make a go of a relationship based on sex? Find out in this scintillating five alarm tale.

Playing with Fire – Jodi Lynn Copeland

Michigan

Months before, firefighter Linc Gabriel was injured while fighting a fire. Since that time, he’s resisted returning to work, an unspoken fear of failure that he doesn’t want to face.  Next door neighbor Erica Donelson has been pushing him to fight his demons and return to a job he’s good at. He recently helped her through a rough patch and she’s only returning the favor. Erica also wants Linc between the sheets and makes no bones about it, but he thinks she’s looking for a rebound affair. Deep down, he wants more than to be her temporary lover and is afraid he’d lose her as a friend. Yet, every time he turns around, there is Erica, ready to offer up herself. Can’t he see she wants him for more than a fling?

Jodi Lynn Copeland certainly knows how to write a tale that entertains and scorches. Playing with Fire fits the bill as Linc and Erica battle it out while she tries to prove they can have sex and not ruin their perfect friendship. He’s recovered physically from his injuries, but emotionally he’s a man who needs the tender loving care of a woman like Erica. Too bad he can’t see that! Their exchanges turn sexy, with some sexual innuendo, which will have readers chuckling. Will Erica get Linc to see the light, both professionally and personally?

A friendship turns fiery hot in Playing with Fire. Get out the asbestos gloves, as you’re going to need them.

There is nothing sexier than a firefighter who’s a man not afraid of showing exactly how tough he is and how tender in bed he can be. Three sassy, sexy tales that will warm you up on those cold winter nights. Grab a copy of MEN ON FIRE for a toasty, tasty and tantalizing read.
