Tulsa, Oklahoma - Present Day

Barrett George is thrilled to find out that the person who called in the trouble at Mahoney Towers Tulsa is a sexy redhead – exactly his type.  While he tries to find out where the hotel’s general manager disappeared to and what strange things are happening at the hotel, he’ll be able to entertain himself with fantasies of what he and the delicious Ms. Jillian Fox will be doing once his investigation is wrapped up.  When she starts avoiding Barrett at every turn, he starts to doubt that the attraction is mutual.  But then, while reading her e-mail – during the course of his investigation, naturally – he finds out that his first instinct was right, but Jillian will need a little persuasion.

After her disappointing experiences in the past, Jillian hasn’t paid much attention to men, but she’s definitely noticing Barrett George.  Just like his initials, he’s a big man, arrogant, and a little too aware of the fact that she’s attracted to him.  Since she has no interest in becoming this player’s latest diversion, Jillian does her best to avoid him, but with her being the only employee aware of Barrett’s true purpose at the hotel, it’s not like she can avoid him forever.

When Jillian finally agrees to dinner, it turns into so much more, and Barrett is the first man to get her to shed her inhibitions.  The passion that burns between them is surprising to each, and more than Barrett has ever felt, or wanted to feel, for any woman.  But is what they are feeling strong enough to last beyond Barrett’s investigation?

BIG TEMPTATION is a compelling erotic story.  Jillian’s inner demons keep her from fully enjoying life, especially sex, but Barrett basically bulldozes his way past her hang-ups.  For all of his pushy and arrogant ways, Barrett is a treat; earthy and sexy, he knows how to push all of Jillian’s buttons, which can be very fun.  What’s even more surprising to both of them than the passion is the fact that they find themselves opening up to each other in a way that neither of them have trusted enough to do before.

The mystery about what’s happening at the hotel takes a backseat throughout most of the book, as Jillian and Barrett explore their feelings, and deal with the baggage each of them has always carried around.  While Barrett’s determination to help Jillian fulfill every naughty fantasy she’s had but wouldn’t admit to offers readers plenty of scorchingly erotic scenes, BIG TEMPTATION is also a love story, and one I highly recommend.
