Mystic Ridge and Mystic Valley, Texas - Present Day

Ex-cop turned private investigator and wolf shifter, Adrian Torres has been hired to find out who is responsible for the last attack, yet when he hears about Claire, he knows that time is running out.  Claire’s boyfriend, Lars, is unpredictable at best, and Adrian has to either convince Lars to stay out of it or work with him, otherwise Mystic Ridge is going to suffer.  At the hospital though, the bigger shock comes in the form of the nurse, Kiara, and Adrian’s instant and almost uncontrollable desire for her.  Kiara’s empathic abilities amplify the feelings between them, and it doesn’t take long before they decide to do something about it. 

With all hell breaking loose between the humans and the supernatural, two people find lust turning to love in LAST HOPE.  Both Kiara and Adrian have baggage and insecurities that come from their respective gifts, and they’ll have to work through that in order to see if a long-lasting relationship is possible.  Secondary characters include Claire and Lars, both of whom are coyote shifters; Kyle, a wolf-shifter friend of Adrian’s; and a few other people in the magical community who try to help Adrian and Lars locate the members of the HLH.

An interesting plot and engaging characters make LAST HOPE a book you won’t want to miss.
