Miller Thorn doesn’t do relationships. Well now, who doesn’t like a hard-bodied, sexy as sin man with a delicious accent and a creative mind in bed? Miller is everything most women would want: sexy, loyal, dedicated and giving (“whatever you want” is something he says frequently and boy does he deliver!). But, he isn’t perfect by any means. His long dead father was an abusive S.O.B. and it’s primarily his beatings and scathing tirades that made Miller the man he is today. Add in the betrayal of the only two women he ever wanted as his own, and his brother Ethan’s as well, and it’s obvious he has issues. The question is, can he get over his belief that no woman would really love and choose him  in time to save Kaycee from the past that comes back to haunt her? Kaycee appears to be a bright and playful spirit, but it’s her relationship with Miller that has allowed that sunny person inside herself to reemerge. Her joy is infectious and influences Miller greatly. They have fun together and some very interesting times in bed (or waterfalls, planes, kitchens, etc…). And I’ve got to say, Miller really has a way with rope. ;-) Their passion burns brightly, but it’s all the ways they make each other better people that makes you certain this is a TRUE BLUE LOVE.

Given how close the Thorn family is (what with most of them working on the station) you’d expect them to fill most of the secondary character roles and you’d be right. Ethan (the brother who married Miller’s ex-fiancée Denae in RIPTIDE LOVE, October 2008) is still trying to patch up his relationship with Miller. Cohen (another brother whose story is told in BOOMERANG LOVE, January 2008) and Hayleigh are obviously happy in their relationship (their kids are lovely little terrors). The Thorn brothers’ mom, Maree, may just be the saving grace who keeps Kaycee and Miller on the right track. Also present and accounted for are numerous cousins, uncles and aunts. Dr. Connor Giese is Kaycee’s new boss and a good friend of the Thorns.
