The characterization is evenly developed, yet deep enough to evoke realistic displays of emotion.  It’s interesting to see that while Mark is the dominant one, he is the one that wants more than a one night stand.  It’s fun to watch Ruby’s playful and not quite submissive personality as she has a hard time dealing with commitment.  BOUND TO PLEASE invites readers into Ruby’s and Mark’s world of sexual pleasure that is intense and steamy, but not over the top.  In addition, Ms. Feisty clearly knows how to increase the romantic heat, keeping the readers’ interest until the final page.
