Brisbane - Present Day

All her life, Augusta Lawrence has known she was different, and when she was sixteen, she learned there was proof.  More than five hundred years earlier, an ancestress being burned at the stake spoke a curse that would tie together the Lawrence women and the Cardissan men throughout the ages.  With her thirtieth birthday coming up, Augusta – nicknamed Rowdy by her best friend, Tilly – knows that it’s only a matter of time until the Cardissan man shows up, and Rowdy is not looking forward to it.

An immortal, Argon Cardissan spends his time wrangling the spellbinders and helping to fight off the supernatural, knowing that one day he would meet his destined mate, but not too happy about it.  When he meets Augusta while helping Titch and Tilly, Argon swiftly changes his mind and accepts his fate.  Augusta is everything he could want in a woman, and he would gladly give up his immortality for her.  Now he just has to convince her that it’s not just about the curse.

A woman determined to avoid her fate, ROWDY intends to stay far away from Argon, no matter how much she wants him.  Augusta was adopted as an infant, and it wasn’t until her sixteenth birthday that she found out about the family curse.  The letter her birth mother wrote before she died has left Augusta with the belief that meeting the Cardissan will mean her doom.  Unfortunately, the letter only explains half of what Augusta needs to know, and she’s not sure she’s ready to know the rest.  Argon is almost immediately enchanted by Rowdy, but he’ll have to get past her stubbornness.  Add in a case involving zombies, and the unexpected arrival of Augusta’s internet friend, and Argon and Augusta have more to deal with than expected.

Some of the initial meetings between Argon and Augusta actually take place in TANTALIZING TILLY, as does the explanation of some of what Argon does.  I’d recommend reading the books in order because they are closely connected, however ROWDY can be enjoyed on its own.  A sexy and entertaining story, check out ROWDY.
