At two hundred plus years old, Seth Gramble could be forgiven for being eager to claim Paxton Tenor, the woman he’s certain is his mate, but given the fact that her boyfriend was killed two years ago by a rogue vamp, and she seems to think all vamps are evil, that hasn’t happened. However, Seth is done waiting as he’s seen some signs that Pax may be unbending, a little, so he’s decided it’s time to show her once and for all that he’s the only male for her. Oh yeah, he also needs to tell her that he changes into a jaguar from time to time. And that he’s a prince among his people. Should be interesting…

Seth doesn’t know it, but Pax has been fighting her attraction to him TOOTH AND CLAW for quite some time. A strong, independent woman who doesn’t take crap from anyone, she’s having a difficult time admitting that she wants Seth. But hey, sometimes a girl’s just got to give in. Once, maybe twice, certainly no more than three times?! Seth is pretty patient for a vamp, and yeah ladies, he’s hot! He’s also man enough to appreciate a woman who seems likely to give him a hard time whenever she feels it’s necessary. Gotta like that in a man. :-)

At fifty two pages, this tale must focus primarily on Seth and Pax, but you’ll still have time to fall in love with Pax’s fellow police detective and partner, Luke (a goofball who also happens to be Seth’s best friend). I hope he gets his own story someday (and hey, if that happens and we also get to catch up with Seth and Pax again, so much the better). :-)
