Erotic Contemporary Romance - Short Story

Boston, Massachusetts - Present Day

Eden Morrell is hoping that her friends will be able to help her out.  Her editor has asked that she add a little sex to her medical thrillers, but Eden isn’t very comfortable writing about sex.  Her friends, Fenny, Dee, Dini, and Stella – all authors – aren’t as much help as she’d hoped though, as their advice is to write about what she likes.  But Eden just isn’t a very sexual person, and doesn’t actually enjoy sex.  She’s rarely dated since her divorce, and hasn’t been inspired to do so.  Then Sean Rafferty comes into her life.

Her first impression of him is that he’s a dangerous biker, but his quick wit and charm, added to his confession that he’s a physics professor, has Eden re-evaluating him.  When Sean asks her out, she can’t imagine what he’s thinking, and has no intention of agreeing, yet somehow a “yes” comes out.  Even before the dinner is over, Eden realizes that at least some of her first impressions were right, because surely Sean is going to be dangerous to her heart.

TOUCH ME is the latest entry into the Sexplorations series, which features a group of friends and authors, each specializing in a different genre.  The women formed a fast friendship, and often get together to discuss writing, men, books, sex, or whatever.  Though she’d be surprised to know it, Eden is like her friends in that she has some insecurities that keep her from completely opening herself up to the possibility of a relationship: in her case, a fuller figure and her lack of interest in sex.  It takes her a bit to completely trust Sean’s claims that he likes a woman with curves, but the evidence is pretty convincing.  The chemistry between them sizzles, but Sean’s desire for more than a quick tryst has him slowing things down, making a relationship between Sean and Eden a bit more believable.

A funny, sexy short story, look for TOUCH ME.
