The Caribbean - Present Day

After years of entering contests, Calliope Howard has won an all-expenses paid vacation, to a clothing-optional resort.  Once she arrives she knows that she’s not going to be able to bare all, and the thought of being the only clothed woman in a group of naked people isn’t at all appealing.  So she takes her friend’s suggestion, and checks out the gym.  There, she meets Leo Thatcher, a personal trainer and absolute hunk.  After her workout he admits that he’s an aspiring author, just like Calli, and invites her to discuss their writing over dinner.  When he lets her know that he’s interested in her, Calli decides to take another of her friends’ suggestions and enjoy a little sexploration.  A fling is just what Calli needs to enjoy her vacation, and Leo, a gorgeous and intelligent man who would never be interested in plain-Jane Calli in the real world, is perfect for her fantasy.  But how will she handle falling in love?

In WORKING UP A SWEAT, both Calli and Leo have been burned before, and have difficulties believing that they could be what the other person wants.  Their encounters are both erotic and friendly, as they divide their time between getting to know one another, working on Leo’s story and sex.  Like the other books in the Sexplorations series, this one can be read on it’s own, as each focuses on a specific romantic relationship, and the underlying thread tying them together is the friendship between the women.  However, as this book doesn’t not take place in Boston, the contact is a bit more limited.

Likeable characters make WORKING UP A SWEAT an engaging story that is sure to please.
