What is a Nibble? (Naughty Nibble for the erotic side)

Nibbles are short stories of 50 pages or less.  The reviews on "nibbles" are not as complete as reviews for Short Stories and Single Titles.  Generally, there is no critique of the story or writing; instead, there is an overview of the story premise and an RRT Rating.

What is a "short story" (erotic short)?

Short Stories are novellas of 51 to 100 pages in length.  They are given a full review, although often the synopsis and critique are not as complete as for Single Titles due to the brevity of the story and possible spoilers.

What are "single title" books?

In general, almost all print books are considered single title, due to length.  Electronic books are considered "single title" if they are 101 pages or more.  Single Title reviews are generally longer and more in depth as to plot, writing, characterization, etc.  However, they do not include spoilers.

Why are only the "nibbles" rated?

Because of the length of the stories, it is difficult to critique without giving possible spoilers, therefore we have instituted a rating system. This rating is purely subjective and is the opinion of the reviewer only.

The ratings are as follows:

Sleeper - I should have washed my hair!

Foreplay - Interesting but not enough

Missionary - Gets the job done

Multiple O's - Oh baby I'd go back for more

La Petit Mort  - Can I have three please?(this would be equivalent of La Grande Mort for the nibbles)

La Grande Mort - Truly to Die For - For Single Title and Short Stories (the equivelent of Romance Reviews Today's Perfect 10)

Why can't I find a review, or where are older reviews posted?

Currently all reviews posted in 2006 are available on Romance Reviews Today.  RRT has more than 7000 reviews in its archive; however, the archive is not ready for publication at this time.  This is a project that requires many more hours of work before it will be ready.  However, you can email RRT and request a copy of a review.  If we have reviewed it, we will be more than happy to provide a copy in a Word document attachment. All EROTIC Reviews posted after 9/20/06 can be found on this site www.rrterotic.com (yes that's where you are.) For copies of reviews not available on the web email: Archives But the book title and author you are searching for in the body of the emial.

What is THE READERS' ZONE?

Originally, The Readers' Zone was a column put together by our eBook coordinator to highlight books our reviewers had read but were too short in length to receive a full review.  We have created the "Nibbles" category to replace this portion of the Reader's Zone.  However, the Readers' Zone will continue to be issued each month with reading recommendations from RRT staff as well as from readers.  READERS, if you've read a book, Erotic or Non-erotic, and want to comment (positively only -- if you hate it we don't want to give it space <g>).  Please read about how to do that below.

What are Reader Comments and how can I submit them?

Readers' Comments are just what they sound like.  If you've read a book and want to share you enthusiasm about it with thousands of other readers, submit your comments to Terrie_Figueroa@romrevtoday.com.  All comments must include the following:

Title / Author / Publisher / Your Comments on the book (please limit your comments to no more than five lines of text) and a Note if you want you name or email published with your comments. (RRT reserves the right to crop and edit reviews to fit the size parameters and standards of grammar.  Additionally, RRT reserves the right to reject submissions that include profanity, overly graphic descriptions, or an attack on an author, publisher, or any other person or organization.
